Top Hut | Oteake Conservation Park

Top Hut was built in 1989 but is unlined, unlike the renovated Boundary Creek Hut down the valley.

Favoured as a lunch stop by four-wheel drivers heading for, or having come over Omarama Saddle, and bike packers, who tend to stay.

The old hut has been retained and is immediately next door.

Prepare to get your feet wet on the track up from Boundary Creek.
