Hut Creek Hut | Oteake Conservation Park

Right on the perimeter of the Ōteake Conservation Park, and it takes some getting to. Most visitors arrive in motorised transportation, either by four-wheel drive or trail bike.

Thick stone walls. The roof is supported on four treated pine poles. The floor is flat stone flagging, but the four bunks are okay, with standard DOC mattresses, and a stainless steel bench.

The wood burner should heat the hut, but you need to bring your own wood supply.
