Adjacent to the actual Routeburn Falls the Routeburn Falls Hut is built on stilts with a grand overview of the lower Routeburn valley.
Sort of refurbished it really is five-star tramping accommodation even if the sleeping arrangements are somewhat more monastic/prison-like, ie, four closely grouped bunks for each of the cells.
