Baldersons Cottage | Coronet Peak Station

This one-room accommodation house was built in about 1864 as a halfway house to the Skippers goldfields, back in the day when the Long Gully pack track went on this side of the stream. The hotel closed in 1888, when the current Skippers Road was opened.

Now, mostly a curiosity for passing four-wheel drivers, although it would be possible to stay, as long as you can cope with the clouds of dust.
