Highland Creek Hut | Mt Soho Station Pastoral Lease
Highland Creek Hut has the most spectacular setting of the Motatapu huts with the same efficient design as Rose’s: two large sleeping platforms with mattresses, a big table and plenty of seating.
These huts all have good-sized water tanks. Useful, as it is a fair way down to the actual Highland Creek.

Before you go, buy 1 Standard Hut Ticket (blue for adults, red for youth) for each night of your stay. Put this in the honesty box at the hut. A Backcountry Hut Pass is also valid year-round.
