Roses Hut | Mt Soho Station Pastoral Lease
Roses Hut on Mt Soho Station Pastoral Lease is one of three Motatapu similar huts, Fern Burn is a mirror image of the other two.
These are the new breed of DOC huts, double-glazed, heavily insulated and, in this instance, being in tussock country and lacking in firewood, no heating.

Before you go, buy 1 Standard Hut Ticket (blue for adults, red for youth) for each night of your stay. Put this in the honesty box at the hut. A Backcountry Hut Pass is also valid year-round.
