Albert Town campsite | Albert Town, near Wanaka

Albert Town campsite is a large campsite enjoyed by the motoring public due to its proximity to the highway and a cheap alternative to staying in Wanaka.

Right on the Clutha River it’s, err, a cheaper alternative to staying in Wanaka. There’s a more secluded campsite 1km further north along Te Araroa towards Lake Hawea that may be preferable.
