Lake Howden Hut | Routeburn Track, Fiordland National Park

Lake Howden Hut was damaged by a landslide in February 2020 and has been deemed too dangerous to use.

The hut has been demolished. DOC is not going to rebuild it.

Lake Howden Hut was at a lovely location on the outlet of a small creek from Lake Howden, at the junction of the Routeburn and Greenstone Tracks.
