Weka Burnet Bivvy, Craigieburn Forest Park

Weka Burnet Bivvy is located in low forest about 80 m from Weka Stream, so look for the large orange DOC triangle on the scrub edge of the stream, about 500 m upstream from the Weka and Burnet Streams junction.

A well presented, if tiny bivvy in fairly original condition, although the original fireplace has been removed. Few visit as evidenced by the hut book that goes back to 1979.
