South Temple Hut | Ruataniwha Conservation Park

One of the original New Zealand Forest Service huts in the area has been extended and modified at some stage in the past. Visited by many on day trips, but these days it is very close to the Temple camping area and the road, so few stay.

Note that you need to cross the South Temple stream to access the hut, so you will get your feet wet both on arrival and departure.
