Brodrick Hut | Ruataniwha Conservation Park

The view of the Upper Huxley valley basin from the helicopter landing pad is extraordinary.

No real track for some of the way from the Main Huxley Forks Hut. If the river is low, it’s best to cross the river as required. Follow the track from the 3rd to last creek before the hut to avoid a small gorge, and definitely find the track from the last creek as the hut is some distance above the river.

The hut is in reasonable condition, although it is small for six bunks.
