Boundary Creek Hut | Hakatere Conservation Park

Another old musterers’ hut repurposed for recreational use, now it’s in the Haketere Conservation Area.

Better than most, due to its large size, concrete floor, some renovation, including window replacements, and two large strips of clearlight roofing that let in light.

You can drive there, so there might be rubbish around. If they cart it in, why can’t they take the rubbish out?

The ease of access, even if it’s a long way, makes it a good first tramping destination for teenagers.
