Pinnacles Hut | Hakatere Conservation Park

Pinnacles Hut is a big hut to have everyone bundled together in one room, so bring your earplugs. The young crew may be up late having a fine social time, while the older folk may be rustling plastic bags and cranking up their burners for breakfast before dawn.

A good base for climbing Mt Sommers, which has an unobstructed view over the Canterbury plains.

Not as easy to access as the nearby Woolshed Creek Hut.
