Lighthouse Cottage | Godley Head

Once a radio station building for the Awaroa/Godley Head defences, the structure has been well-renovated for public accommodation, but you need to book the entire place to stay.

The hut shares the toilets with the adjacent DOC campsite, which is well used by camper vans. It’s all part of a recent DOC push to have more facilities close to Christchurch.
