Top Robinson Hut | Victoria Forest Park

Top Robinson Hut is part of the Lake Christabel Track and is accessed from Palmer Road. It seems to be used primarily either by occasional hunters, or by trainee rangers getting some field experience, because the slightly larger size of the hut means that an eight-person group can be adequately accommodated. And the Robinson River does not have high usage.

If not for a large sign nailed to a tree, finding the hut in the dark may prove problematic; it is slightly off the track, in a clearing that is slowly being covered by bracken and regenerating red beech trees.

Overall, it is still in good nick.
