Cedar Flat Historic Hut, Toaroha River

Fortunately, Cedar Flat Historic Hut, an old Forest Service hut, has been retained and done up to be acceptable accommodation.

It’s a good example of what was once provided for deer cullers, although it was probably once a four-bunk hut.

Immediately adjacent to the newer and extended Cedar Flat Hut, it shares the water supply and toilet.
