Frew Hut, Whitcombe River

A modern DOC hut, ie, insulated, double glazed, sandfly screens, on a river terrace above the Whitcombe River. Set in a clearing in the kahikatea/mixed podocarp rainforest.

Might be damp with little direct sun in winter. The view of the Whitcombe is splendid.
