Ces Clarke Hut | Paparoa Track Great Walk
Ces Clarke Hut was built in 1986 when the Croesus Track was cleared for recreational use, after many years of abandonment.
Now spruced up as part of the Paparoa Track Great Walk, with a large new deck, an interior sink, and gas burners installed.
Fine views down to the Grey River valley.

Backcountry Hut Passes can be used as payment for Ces Clark Hut. However, you’ll need to book online and then claim a refund. To claim a refund, email paparoavc@doc.govt.nz with your booking reference and a scanned copy of your Backcountry Hut Pass.
