Nicholsons Hut | Kopuwai Conservation Area
A 120+ year-old musterers’ hut, now located within a conservation area. It has some old gold workings nearby, including water races.
Five generous bunks.
Has a concrete slab in great condition, newish bunks, and an old sink bench, with some plywood on the walls. Has been reasonably maintained.
Basically, plenty of character, and not so far from where you can park your four-wheel drive.
