Boundary Hut | Glenaray Station
Originally built pre-1890s before a fence was built between two properties, and then rebuilt in the 1960s as a musterers’ hut.
A Dunedin ski club renovated it in the 1990s and also built the toilet. DOC provided mattresses for the 3½ bunks.
It’s a lovely location with enough distance from the four-wheel-drive track to keep most of the motorised brigade away.
Big windows at the view end of the hut, and a large deck to take in the view down the valley to the north.
