Rodger Inlet Historic Hut, Fiordland National Park

One of the two older huts has been retained, with an A frame hut recently demolished. Only around 50 m from the new hut, and it shares the longdrop toilet.

The structure has been re-piled, re-roofed, and re-lined. The open fireplace was removed. This is a basic hut that is indeed quite basic.

Pro tip: sleep at the new hut.
