Lincoln Hut | Eyre Mountain/ Taka Ra Haka Conservation Park
Huts on four-wheel-drive tracks can often be abused, but this seems to have avoided that. It has been renovated recently by volunteers from the Backcountry Trust, including the construction of a large woodshed.
Lincoln Hut is a simple two-bunk New Zealand Forest Service hunters’ hut that is still used for that purpose.
