Big River campsite | Fiordland National Park
One excellent campsite in the shelter of trees on the east side of the river. Apparently, there was once a hut somewhere around here, but it’s now long gone.
It is a spectacular place to camp and may be preferable to Westies Hut if you can be bothered carrying a tent. Quite near the open sea.
Note that the sandflies can be fierce.
No toilet.
