Warden Hut, Seymour Stream
Warden Hut is right on the farm road into the Clarence River, so it’s surprising this doesn’t get more use. DOC must have been anticipating considerably more traffic to build such a large hat here. Perhaps they thought that if they built it, then the mountain bikers/horse riders/trampers would come.
For those who have just trudged over Blind Saddle, however, this is a splendid place to spend a comfortable night.

Before you go, buy 1 Standard Hut Ticket (blue for adults, red for youth) for each night of your stay. Put this in the honesty box at the hut. A Backcountry Hut Pass is also valid year-round.
