Top Leatham Hut, Leatham River

Top Leatham Hut started as a four bunk New Zealand Forest Service deer cullers’ hut, but recently it was re-piled, two bunks added, the porch built, a wood burner installed, new double glazed windows and installation installed, oh, relined as well. It’s now pretty snug.

Used by recreational hunters, and those on the Leatham/Molesworth route circuit.
