Top Gordon Hut, Gordon Stream

Top Gordon Hut is a standard New Zealand Forest Service S70 six bunk hut that was given a pretty good makeover in 2005 with new bunks and mattresses, stainless benches and insulation. The windows are only single glazed however.

It’s in a sunny location with a reasonable outlook, although aren’t those all conifers up there on the north side of Gordon Stream?
