Barbers Hut, Leatham River area

Located right on the four-wheel-drive road up the valley, you can continue driving on to Lower Gordon Hut.

While it has been renovated with new, larger aluminium-framed windows, a door, and a potbelly woodburner, it is not much used by trampers. Just the occasional hunting party, and visitors passing through in their motorised transportation.
