Barbers Hut, Leatham River area
Located right on the four-wheel-drive road up the valley, and you can continue driving on to Lower Gordon Hut.
While it has been renovated, with new larger aluminium framed windows and door, and potbelly woodburner, it is not much used by trampers. Just the occasional hunting party, and visitors passing through in their motorised transportation.
