Forbes Hut, (formerly Seymour Hut), Clarence River
Built in 2006, Seymour Hut was officially renamed Forbes Hut on 1 December 2015, after a DOC guy Kim Forbes, who died in March 2015.
Forbes Hut is on a river terrace above the Clarence River, in a cattle paddock, so it might not be obvious to those passing by while seated in their kayak, or raft out on the river.

Before you go, buy 1 Standard Hut Ticket (blue for adults, red for youth) for each night of your stay. Put this in the honesty box at the hut. A Backcountry Hut Pass is also valid year-round.
