Cowshed Bay campsite | Queen Charlotte Track, Marlborough Sounds
A largish Cowshed Bay campsite, down on the edge of Kenepuru Sound at Portage, that’s split by a road. That means it’s occupied by your standard tourist, with motorised transportation, sometimes of humungous proportion, rather than being self-propelled. There’s a camp host for much of the year.
You will find two substantial kitchen structures, water at the sinks, flush toilets, and, typical DOC style, almost level camping areas that you may, or may not, be able to fix your tent pegs in.
