Red Hills Hut | Mt Richmond Forest Park
Huts close to road ends can get a beating, people are less careful with firewood selection, sites can quickly become denuded. That may be the reason this hut doesn’t have heating.
On the other hand it does have a few picture windows, for a view, all double glazed, and the big insulation keeps the passive solar accommodation warm enough, at least on a sunny day.

Before you go, buy 1 Standard Hut Ticket (blue for adults, red for youth) for each night of your stay. Put this in the honesty box at the hut. A Backcountry Hut Pass is also valid year-round.
