Lower Goulter Hut | Mt Richmond Forest Park
Many huts near road ends suffer from inconsiderate use, damage, rubbish, etc, but Lower Goulter Hut seems to have escaped this fate.
Set on a river flat, the hut has been modified over the years, with a verandah, new windows, woodburner, etc, and is as good a place to stay as any.

Before you go, buy 1 Standard Hut Ticket (blue for adults, red for youth) for each night of your stay. Put this in the honesty box at the hut. A Backcountry Hut Pass is also valid year-round.
