Anatoki Forks Hut | Kahurangi National Park
Built by NZFS/NZDA, it is a light-filled and spacious six bunker, with a famous feature seldom found working in other DOC huts: a hot water tank and a shower, complete with a floral shower curtain.
It is hard to picture the surroundings as an encampment for a number of gold prospectors, but highly stacked rocks show some of the effort put in.

Before you go, buy 1 Standard Hut Ticket (blue for adults, red for youth) for each night of your stay. Put this in the honesty box at the hut. A Backcountry Hut Pass is also valid year-round.
