Fenella Hut | Kahurangi National Park

Fenella Hut was constructed as a memorial to Fenella Druce, who was one of four people killed when an alpine hut in Mt Cook National Park was blown away in 1977.

It is the usual hut of choice in the Cobb Valley due to its location at the head of the valley. Plenty of bench space and room to move. Actually, a strange configuration; I guess it will eventually be revamped by DOC to make better use of the considerable space.
