Julia Hut - new | Arthurs Pass National Park
The new Julia Hut is not exactly new, just newer than the old Julia Hut, a couple of minutes’ walk away.
It’s a short walk down to the Taipo River, where the smell of sulphur will lead you to an area where you can dig your own hot pool with the implements that are supplied, and those hot pools are one of the attractions of the Harman Pass route.

Youth (5–17 years): $7.50 per night
Child/Infant (0–4 years): free
Before you go, buy 1 Standard Hut Ticket (blue for adults, red for youth) for each night of your stay. Put this in the honesty box at the hut. A Backcountry Hut Pass is also valid year-round.
