Hawdon Shelter and campsite | Arthurs Pass National Park
The Hawdon Shelter is basic, roof and three walls, no doors to allow full enclosure, and some not quite comfortable benches.
There is an enormous grassy area for car campers with their enormous tents to really spread out their campsite, those carrying a tent on their back may prefer to camp under the superb red beech forest.
