Edwards Hut | Arthurs Pass National Park

The old Lockwood hut has been around for a while, but access is more strenuous than the elevation may suggest. Not quite as easy as Hawden Hut. “You mean you go down there?”

The bunks are packed in two separate bedrooms, but the outlook to the north is certainly great.

Note that blue ducks/whio can be seen in the vicinity if you are observant.
