Crow Hut | Arthurs Pass National Park

Accessed either directly from Arthurs Pass village via Avalanche Peak, and a fun scree slide, or from the Waimakariri Valley via a well-marked track.

On a river terrace with great views over to the ramparts of Avalanche Peak, ie, an entirely mountainous backdrop. A posse of keas may visit and amuse you with their antics, so don’t leave stuff outside without supervision.

A well-insulated hut that is an inspiring place to visit.
