Bealey Spur Hut | Arthurs Pass National Park
Approaching 90 years old with a dirt floor and bush construction to match its era, this old musterer’s gets visited by many people on day trips. It’s an easy if relentless climb on an obvious track with one prominent spot for a huge view over the Waimakariri River and up the Bealey River.
The hut has a small water tank, and water should be conserved in summer months.
Comfortable. Many hours could be spent attempting to find the oldest graffiti.
Worth a visit.
