Old Homestead Hut | Rakiura National Park, Stewart Island
The old Homestead Hut is not so far from the new, and is in a non-habitable state.
This was once used for venison farming purposes, which explains the lack of windows. There is evidence of the old slat floor in places. Not recommended for human habitation.
