Freds Camp Hut | Rakiura National Park, Stewart Island

Freds Camp Hut is perched over the beach with an unobstructed view across Patterson Inlet/Whaka a Te Wera. It’s a great place to watch the colours change with the sunrise.

Fishing off the jetty at high tide or gathering a few blue mussels at low, or just sitting on the verandah drinking mugs of tea, it’s worth a stay.
