Tiraumea Hut | Nelson Lakes National Park
Tiraumea Hut is situated at the east end of a large clearing adjacent to the beech forest.
On the main marked trail between the D’Urville and Matakitaki River valleys.
It has been somewhat renovated, but it is basically a typical NZFS SF 70 hunter’s hut.

Before you go, buy 1 Standard Hut Ticket (blue for adults, red for youth) for each night of your stay. Put this in the honesty box at the hut. A Backcountry Hut Pass is also valid year-round.
