East Matakitaki Hut | Nelson Lakes National Park

This old NZFS hut is mainly used by those on the Lewis Pass to St Arnaud route, ie, not many at all, perhaps six or eight parties a year.

Chances are you won’t be disturbed if you stay here.

The roof was replaced, a woodshed was built, and the hut was repainted in 2020.
