D'Urville Hut | Nelson Lakes National Park
An older-style hut that hunters and fisherpeople favour on Lake Rotorua.
You can catch a water taxi up or down the lake, with the cost dependent on the total number of passengers per trip. The minimum fee is $210 for 1-3 people one-way ($420 return) or $65 per person one-way ($130 return) if there are 4 or more passengers.

Before you go, buy 1 Standard Hut Ticket (blue for adults, red for youth) for each night of your stay. Put this in the honesty box at the hut. A Backcountry Hut Pass is also valid year-round.
