John Tait Hut | Nelson Lakes National Park

John Tait Hut is a great setting for a valley floor hut, close to the Travers River with the scenic mountain backdrop of the, err, Travers Range.

There’s a nearby slip from 2008 that came close, but not too close, to the hut that’s left its mark.
