Olivine Hut | Pyke - Big Bay route, Pyke Forest
Olivine Hut is right at the junction of the Olivine and Pyke Rivers in a small clearing in the forest. Handy having the cableway across the Olivine but if you need to use it, if the river is significantly high tide, then you may well find you are trapped by the other rivers in the area in any case.
The Olivine is the kind of hut that if you had to you probably wouldn’t mind having to stay an extra few days, ie, it has a great atmosphere, probably all that light bouncing around inside.
