Gouland Downs campsite | Heaphy Track, Kahurangi National Park
The Gouland Downs campsite is a large, bare timber platform not far from the hut, with tie-down ropes to secure the tent rather than the traditional pegs-in-the-ground approach. Guess the vegetation here is quite fragile.
