Heaphy campsite | Heaphy Track, Kahurangi National Park
The Heaphy campsite is not exactly a level campsite, in an area known for its friendly sandflies, which will greet you in a cloud.
On the other hand, it’s at least in a great, more or less sheltered, location near the mouth of the scenic Heaphy River.
Location: great. Amenity value: err, less so.
