Jervois Hut | St James Conservation Area
An unrenovated three bunk hut straight from the deer culler days. Still with an open fireplace and canvas bunks, although now with plastic coated mattresses provided.
The graffiti makes for interesting reading: many of the names date back to the 1950s and 60s. It’s a hut that would have plenty of tall stories, no doubt, if the walls could talk.
