Point 744, Anatoki River campsite | Kahurangi National Park

There are few places to camp between Adelaide Tarn and Lonely Lake, and this is the most convenient.

Not exactly at Point 744, which is in a sphagnum bog, but it is immediately adjacent to the Anatoki River, near where it loops around. There’s sufficient clear, level space for a couple of tents.

Great camping here, kākā and kākāriki may also enjoy the spot if you are lucky.
