Gouland Downs campsite | Heaphy Track, Kahurangi National Park
The Gouland Downs campsite is a large bare timber platform not far from the hut, with tie-down ropes to secure the tent instead of the traditional pegs in the ground approach. Guess the vegetation here is quite fragile.
